Limitations and alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of Cutter & Buck Online Store, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.

Known limitations for Cutter & Buck Online Store:

  1. Product Images: Around 200 products have images that supply poor alternative text because improper uploading of the files through our back end system. We are working to correct the existing images that have poor alternative text, and will be monitoring images in the future to prevent this in the future. In the meantime, please use our contact us form to report an issue.

  2. Linked images may result in a stutter for screen readers: Images with the same alt text that are linked may appear next to a corresponding link with the same text. This can cause a stutter when using a screen reader because the image and link are placed next to each other in the code. We are updating our code to hide one of the two elements from screen readers using the aria-hidden attribute so that the stutter does not occur.
